BiBi grabbed her small woven basket and headed toward the orchard. The trees were full of ripe treasures — golden bananas, blushing guavas, and plump, purple grapes. She carefully climbed the branches, picking the sweetest and juiciest fruits. Each piece was checked with care before being placed into her basket. Every now and then, she popped a grape into her mouth, smiling at its burst of sweetness.
Once her basket was filled, BiBi carried it back to the kitchen area. Ody, curious as ever, peeked over to see what she had gathered. His eyes widened when he spotted the colorful collection of fruit. BiBi gave him a little smile, tapping her head as if to say, “Just wait — you’ll see what I’m making.”
First, BiBi washed all the fruit in a big wooden bowl of fresh water. The bananas were peeled and sliced into smooth, golden rounds. The guavas were cut into small cubes, their pink centers glistening in the morning light. The grapes were plucked from their stems, each one shiny and bursting with juice.
Next came the yogurt — fresh, creamy, and slightly chilled. BiBi spooned it into a large bowl, then added a drizzle of honey to give it a touch of natural sweetness. She gently stirred the mixture until it was silky and smooth. One by one, she added the fruit pieces, making sure every bite would be full of flavor.
Ody sat nearby, tail flicking in excitement as the delicious smell of fresh fruit and honey filled the air. When the fruit yogurt was ready, BiBi poured it into a leaf bowl and topped it with a few extra slices of banana for decoration. It looked colorful, refreshing, and irresistible.
Finally, BiBi handed the bowl to Ody. The little monkey took his first bite and his eyes lit up instantly. The sweetness of the fruit blended perfectly with the creamy yogurt, making it the best breakfast he’d had in a long time. He happily licked the spoon clean, then looked up at BiBi with a big smile.
BiBi felt proud. She had not only made something delicious but had also created it from scratch — from harvesting the fruit herself to preparing the final dish. It was a reminder that fresh, homemade food made with love is always the best.
As the morning went on, Ody finished every bite, and BiBi decided she would make more fruit yogurt in the future — maybe with mangoes or strawberries next time. For now, though, she was happy to see her friend’s belly full and his heart happy.
