One of them, named Dara, had brought in a big rubber dinosaur head — green, scaly, and with big fake teeth. It was part of an old Halloween costume, but today, it had a new purpose: to prank one overly confident monkey.
Dara knew Bibi well. He was playful, curious, and always poking his nose into things. So, the plan was simple. Hide behind a tree, wait for Bibi to come close, then suddenly pop out with the dinosaur head on and give him the scare of a lifetime.
The moment arrived quicker than expected. Bibi, as usual, was sneaking around the snack table, hoping to snatch an extra banana when no one was looking. As he tiptoed — or rather, tiptoed in monkey style — past the tall bush near the tree, Dara crouched silently, waiting.
Suddenly — RAWRRR!!!
The dinosaur head lunged forward with a loud growl.
Bibi froze.
His eyes grew to the size of oranges. In a flash of furry panic, he screamed, did a dramatic backflip, and tumbled headfirst into a pile of leaves. Leaves flew everywhere, and two nearby monkeys jumped away, thinking something real had happened.
Bibi scrambled to his feet, his fur standing up, and darted up a tree at full speed. From above, he peeked out, panting, looking down with suspicion and shock.
Then — the laughter started.
Not just from Dara, who had taken off the dinosaur mask and was wiping tears from his eyes, but from the other monkeys too. They began making funny sounds as if mocking Bibi’s dramatic reaction. One even mimicked his scream, while another rolled around pretending to faint.
Bibi stayed in the tree for a few minutes, pretending to be offended. But after seeing everyone laughing — and noticing Dara holding a banana up in peace — he slowly climbed down.
He snatched the banana, gave Dara a playful slap on the shoulder, and dashed off with a sly grin. Deep down, he knew the prank was good. But one thing was also clear — Bibi would be planning a prank of his own very, very soon.
And in the monkey park, that’s just how the fun never ends.
